I finished my Schnibbles Picnic quilt top!

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well. I finished my Schnibbles Picnic quilt top tonight. I honestly didn't think that I was going to get it done on time. I have been feeling really horribly lately. I really need to see my doctor again. But I'm surviving, and taking things one day at a time. I really love this little quilt top. I'm keeping this one too. It was a lot of work. But definitely worth it. I ripped out a lot of seams in this one in order to get it right. But, I wanted to do a good job. So, I couldn't just leave the mistakes. I'm happy that I did the extra work. It was worth it in the end. I really had to push to get through this top since I felt so terrible. I'll always be able to look at this one and remember that I just kept going when I felt rough and came out ahead with a wonderful little quilt top.

Unfortunately, I still can't put photo's on my blog. The photo is on my flickr account below.

Maybe tomorrow I'll go to the public librairy and load all my pictures on my blog. I can't wait until my computer is fixed.

I figured out how to get online using the PS3!!

Hi everyone, I've figured out how to get online using my kids PS3. It's taking a bit to get used to, but at least the screen is bigger than the iPod. I can also use my mouse and wireless keyboard. It's going to take a bit before I get my computer fixed. So at least I can still go online and see all your wonderful projects. My kids are a little anoyed that I figured out how to get online with the PS3. Now they are going to have to share. Ahhhhh! Too bad. I've added the two blocks I've made to my flickr account. I can upload the photos there but not on my blog.

I think my account is flickr.com/photo/arianescrafts/ .

So go check them out.

Another Block done and a few cute ornaments

On the weekend, I spent some time with my daughter making some Christmas ornaments. This is a tradition for our family. I always make some simple decorations with the kids to put on the tree. The boys were not as interested so my daughter and I went ahead and made some. She painted some simple wooden ornaments with an aqua color. This is her favorite color. I had bought a Martha Stewart stamp and glitter starter kit (on sale 30% off). I also bought some cheap Christmas stamps. These were $1.50 each. We had fun using the glue and glitter to decorate these ornaments. I just have to glue the ribbon to the back in order to hang them on the tree. Aren't these cute!!!

I also finished another Shabby Roses Block. Only 3 more blocks to make. Yeah!!

I have to work evenings tonight. Have a great day.

Happy Stitching!!

A cute little Reindeer Stitchery!

Hi everyone! I hope you are all well.
Today, I organized some of my sewing area.
I don't have a sewing room and my stuff was kind of getting out of control.
So, I spent about four hours today organizing my stuff
so that it's more organized and accessible.
There is still some work to be done. But it looks a lot better.
I also made a small Christmas Stitchery today.
I'm going to be turning it into an ornament.
I used a free pattern that I got online.
Unfortunately, I can't remember what site I got it from.
I'll have to look around to see if I can find it. If I do, I'll let you know.
I hope you like it.

Edited November 23, 2009: I found the free embroidery pattern online. It's from Andrea Zeill at Badbirds blog. She had the free embroidery pattern posted in December of 2007. Here is the link.

Happy Stitching!!
